Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops
Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops have been around since the 1870’s, yes that’s right, I did say 1870’s! It all started with a bit of glycerin and some natural sweetener and flourished into what is now Pine Bros, Inc. You can find these throat drops at CVS drug stores nationwide. Now, I am not a huge lover of cough or throat drops, I normally avoid them because I find that they have a nasty after taste or contain too much sugar. I thought Pine Bros was okay tasting, not great but not terrible. I used them this past week when I had a sore throat and they worked wonderfully. However,…

Review of Toilettree’s Fogless Shower Mirror with Squeegee #holiday
It’s day 2 of my holiday gift guide and I am already at a great start. It can be hard to find unique gifts for those family members who have everything or are picky about what they use. I found thisTravel Fogless Shower Mirror by Toilettree and I think I know just who will be getting it under their Christmas tree this year, but I can’t name names on the blog because I have stalkers, aka family members who read the blog. I like that the mirror is travel size because the person I have in mind likes to do weekenders often and is hairy so needs to shave. Okay, I think…

Review: BuyCostumes.com
As you can see from the picture, this nifty Halloween costume is Ghost Rider and that is my very happy 10 year old son sporting it:) I was extremely pleased with the quality of this costume which came from BuyCostumes.com. The fabric is cotton-knit which has some stretch in it , and the detail of this costume is really cute. There are plastic spike cuffs and a belt that are attached to the costume. The costume is also trimmed in grey bias tape , the grey trimming you see on the collar and down the shirt, it’s not sticky but is a sew in trim. On the right hand chest area are some flames…

Review: Bedford Slims
I hate that my husband smokes but if it weren’t for the nasty smell I would not nag him as much as I do, because he actually does not smoke as much at all, maybe a cigarette a couple times a week. Regardless, it smells horrible and since I have asthma just the smell of it seems to flare my asthma symptoms up even more than perfume. When the electric cigarettes first started coming out I thought about having my husband try them but did not want to spend the money on it if it was not going to work, plus I had doubts that he would actually use it, so we…

Review: Cavalliere Tie from Bows N Ties dot Com
My husband and I were chosen as godparents for his friend’s 15 year old daughter for her quinceanera which is to be held in November and he needed a tie. He does not work a professional job and has not had a need for one until now. I mean, he did were a tie at our wedding and possibly one other time in our 11 years of marriage but I do not even remember when that was. I was offered the opportunity to review a tie from Cavallieri, a designer of fine silk ties and I was excited to review it, especially since he already needed a tie. I was…

Review: Just Eyewear
I do not wear eyeglasses but my blog assistant does so she tried a pair of eyeglasses from Just Eye wear. Ordering them was straight forward and very easy. The eyeglasses came quickly and were secured nicely inside the packaging. She tried a eyeglass that appears to no longer be in the online store so I am unable to link to them but they are similar in style (not color though) to this pair here , the difference between these and the pair my assistant received is the coloring and design on the side, other than that they are the same pair. They retail for $39.99 plus the cost of lens upgrade if you choose. This is…

Review: Flat Iron Experts – Macadamia Natural Oil Hair Care Line
My daughter and I received the Macadamia Natural Oil Hair Care line from Flat Iron Experts to review. Of course, you know me and you know my blog; I don’t review anything that I do not like or will not use myself. So when I was offered this line of products I was excited. I love trying new hair care products out but do not like paying an arm and a leg for them. I was happy that the products are inexpensive, they are under $25 each, but they work really well. They also smell really good and come in attractive containers which is important to me because I am weird about…

Mia Mariu Review
For the past several years I have experienced worsening acne and reddening of my facial skin. I have tried numerous acne treatments and they do work, temporarily, but then they stop working. I have not been successful in finding a product that stops the breakouts and I have just about given up on it. I started looking into microdermabrasion but it is too expensive and I cannot realistically pay for multiple monthly sessions. I even thought about a chemical peel as I know that will clear it up indefinitely but when I did the research it sounded awfully painful. Before/After Then a friend told me about Mia Mariu products and I found…

Pilot Pens, Highlighters and Dry Erase Marker Review
As a blogger I have a need for office supplies but they can cost a bundle. That is why when I choose my supplies I go for free with the use of coupons of course, but when I have to pay for them I only purchase brands that I know I can trust. That’s because it is extremely frustrating to bring an office supply item home only to find that it is broken or does not hold up to my expectations. Take my printer for example, I had it less than a year and it’s already broken so I had to get a replacement just last month. With pens…
