Walgreens to end Pilot program in January!
You are a very important customer to us, so we want you to be among the first to know of an
important update. Thanks to your participation in the Walgreens Rewards pilot program, we’re designing a new program that will be the largest, most exciting retail rewards program in the marketplace. However, before we can launch the new program, we need to discontinue the pilot program in which you’ve been participating. Therefore, the Walgreens Rewards pilot program will be discontinued according to the following schedule:
January 1, 2012: Points earning and discounts with card end.
- Effective January 1, 2012, you will no longer need the program card to get the sale prices in our weekly circular advertisements. All customers will receive sale prices without using their cards. Program cards and keytags will no longer work in our stores as of this date.
- Effective January 1, 2012, we will no longer issue Walgreens Rewards points for purchases of any kind.
- If you have a minimum of 2,000 points in your account, you are eligible to redeem them. Please retain your Walgreens Rewards program card(s) and keytag(s) until after you have redeemed (you may need to reference the numbers on the back when you redeem the points in your account). Please go to www.WalgreensRewards.com or call 877-WAG-REWARDS (877-924-7392) to check your points balance or to redeem
January 31, 2012: Points redemption opportunity ends.
- The last day to redeem the points in your account is January 31, 2012.
Any points not redeemed by this date will be forfeited.
We would like to thank you for participating in our pilot program. Details about the launch of the new program will be made available in-store and in your weekly circular. We look forward to your participation in this exciting new program. If you have any questions, please call us toll-free at 877-WAG-REWARDS (877-924-7392).
Sincerely,
