Mia Mariu Review

For the past several years I have experienced worsening acne and reddening of my facial skin. I have tried numerous acne treatments and they do work, temporarily, but then they stop working. I have not been successful in finding a product that stops the breakouts and I have just about given up on it. I started looking into microdermabrasion but it is too expensive and I cannot realistically pay for multiple monthly sessions. I even thought about a chemical peel as I know that will clear it up indefinitely but when I did the research it sounded awfully painful.

Then a friend told me about Mia Mariu  products and I found out they have an at home microdermabrasion kit . I tried it and saw immediate results. I saw an immediate reduction in redness and my skin looked fresher. RestauraCel-C Microdermabrasion kit delivers impressive results because of it’s powerful Vitamin C spheres, the product gently but evenly resurfaces your face, leaving it dramatically improved after just one session. It is also easy to use. You put the  RestauraCel-C  sparingly all over your face and then activate it by putting RestuaraCel-C Activator. You then rub in circular motion all over the face, being careful not to do it in just one spot for two minutes and then wash off. I saw immediate results but after the second week I started to notice the most results. My face appears cleaner, my skin tone and color is more even and the texture of my face is smoother. For $55 you get a 2oz refresher cream and 1.9 fl oz thermal activator.  On the surface the set may appear expensive but the kit has lasted for more than a month and I have been using it two times a week for 6 weeks now and there is still a lot left in the jar (picture below) and bottle (not picture).

I also tried their moisturizer, blush and a blush brush. I have to say I am extremely pleased with all of their products. Mia Mariu products are high quality and you get a lot for the price.

I loved Mia Mariu’s moisturizer because it has SPD 30+ in it and even though I’m still too young to have to worry about aging skin I like that it has an anti aging component to it; I figure it’s a bonus to an already awesome product. The ingredients list confuses me though because I don’t recognize any of the ingredients, so I was worried that it would make my face breakout but luckily it did not cause an issue. The moisturizer comes in a good sized container, 1.7 oz round jar and it is under $20.

The mineral blush I chose is Maria Bonita Blush which is a light pink but sadly was too light for my skin tone; that said, the blush glides on great and gives awesome coverage and stays put all day long. It comes in a black light weight round container with Mia Mariu decal on the front and has a mirror in the inside. The blush is also under $20 and will last a long time.

The blush brush  is a high quality makeup brush. I can tell because it has not lost any bristles, does not scratch my face when I use it and it also holds color well. I must tell you that I am in love with this brush and wish I would have received more brushes from them because this one is simply FANTASTIC! Mia Mariu claims that the brush will release just the right amount of color and I would say that their claim is accurate as it did just that for me. This item is also under $20, so it’s a steal for a high quality brush as other competing brands go much higher.

Over all Mia Mariu  has quality products that I like a lot and would recommend to my readers.  The microdermabrasion kit won’t cure your acne but it may take away some of the redness and blotchiness that occurs  from having severe acne blemishes.  There is an assortment of products on their website including women’s supplements and vitamins, makeup and a complete skincare line. Prices are reasonable with most items under $30.
