Family Vacation on a Budget Review & Giveaway

Disneyland (2010).

As a family, we love to take vacations but as a college student I was not able to do it very often as there was a lot of homework and responsibility associated with my degree program. Since graduating we have been on a few vacations around Oregon and Washington State. We even froze our behinds outside while we camped at the ocean once. I do enjoy indoor sleeping quarters though and that is why I was so excited about my membership to Red Week, a time share website that allows you to save up to 50 percent on vacation accommodations. The great thing about this time share site is that there is not just time share stuff in there; you can actually get hotel discounts as well.

I  did have a hard time navigating the site. It might be that I have not visited timeshare sites before and did not really understand what a timeshare was. However, I do think that a site like this should be easier to use and be more beginner friendly. That said, I do believe the site is useful for getting discounts and that’s what families are looking to get when they are going on their vacations.

There are over 1.5 million customers subscribed to Red Week , some offer their time shares and other members are there just to rent for their family vacations. A membership gives you access to all of the listing on their website. You can look up reviews so you know if a hotel or other accommodation is fit for your needs. You can also engage in rental agreement right on their site and the site is safe and secure as they use escrow as their method of payment service.

As a time share seller the site would benefit you because you would be able to list your sites for rent, engage with customers and even make the sale right off of their website, and it is all secure so you do not have to worry about fraudulent offers. As a timeshare rental client you do not have to worry about calling lots of different sites to see if there are opening. You can view their ratings and read the reviews right on the site. Best of all the membership offers steep discounts that you won’t find anywhere else.

The company has offered my readers a giveaway worth 1 yr membership to Red Week. Please come back on Wed and the giveaway will be live.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

The vacations we take with two small children have to be inexpensive. I’d love to have this membership so we can get away!

my most memorable family trip memory was taking my niece when she was 1 1/2 years old to the beach the very first time and seeing her face as we put her in the sand for the very first time. it was priceless, she hated it and wasn’t sure what it was at first but she loved the water, it was so cute.

Just FYI (not sure if this is common) that I won this in early April through a different blog and submitted my info to her to get it to the company. I still haven’t got the info 🙁 The sponsor checked back with the company she went through (not sure it was Redweek or a different company) and as of May, she still hadn’t heard back. I’m not sure how much to pursue it because, while it would be nice to have (it would have been nicer with the little trips we did this summer) it also didn’t cost me anything.

You should contact the blogger. I don’t have anything to do with another blogs giveaway. All I can say is I run a professional blogging service and work with professional companies who hold up their end of the deal. I have had zero complaints in the 1+ years I have been doing this.

Oh, I did contact the blogger and they did not get a response back from the company (not sure if it was Redweek or if she went through a third party for Redweek). I wasn’t saying that you had anything to do with me not getting my prize 🙂 I was just giving you a heads up in case it happens to your winner. That reminds me, I should do another follow up with the blogger about it…

I would like to win the Redweek prize so that I may broaden my horizons for when I can go on vacation. I would like to be able to go out of New York state for a vacation.
