Review of Collagelt
As a blogger I am constantly looking for new innovative ways to display my photos on my blog. Not only does it look prettier to have a collage but it also makes the post look better , especially for reviews.
So when I was offered the opportunity to get CollageIt free just for tweeting them out to my followers I jumped at the chance. Once I realized how much I liked it I decided I also needed to write up a review so my followers can see how awesome the program is.
The program is actually really neat because you can do so much with it. The down side is you have to pay extra for additional clip art packages, the basic program does not come with everything they sell and it’s kind of limited with just a few different clip art selections. With that said, you can upload your own photos. I don’t really need much clip art since I am often posting real photos of products but if you did need clip art it could be cost prohibitive.
The template options are pretty good, you get around 20 different ones and can download more. I do not think you have to pay for more templates, I think they are free to download off of their website. Backgrounds are also kind of limited with only 20 or so patterns to choose from. Again, as a blogger I don’t really need backgrounds as I am using picture to display deals and review items.
If you would like to purchase Collage It you can go to their website here for $29.99
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
