Review: BuyCostumes.com

As you can see from the picture, this nifty Halloween costume is Ghost Rider and that is my very happy 10 year old son sporting it:) I was extremely pleased with the quality of this costume which came from BuyCostumes.com. The fabric is cotton-knit which has some stretch in it , and the detail of this costume is really cute.  There are plastic spike  cuffs and a belt that are attached to the costume. The costume is also trimmed in grey  bias tape , the grey trimming you see on the collar and down the shirt, it’s not sticky but is a sew in trim. On the right hand chest area are some flames  with the words “Ghost Rider”  written into the flames.  The mask has flames coming from it’s head with a elastic in the back. the mask is made from hard plastic and can break if not careful,  for the price, the mask is well made and lots of these types of costumes come with this type of mask.

Here Ghost Rider is stealing one of our pumpkins, that mom worked hard to get at the pumpkin patch earlier in the day.  I think the picture above shows how movable as well as durable the costume is.  He is able to run, steal pumpkins and even fight with his sister in this costume;) Ghost Rider in the teen size is a little tight in the groin area for my son and he keeps tugging at it. I think because the costume is meant to be kind of form fitting on the body, you need to order a bigger size if you want a little wiggle room. Women are used to wearing tight clothing but boys aren’t 😉

My son D, will have a blast trick or treating in this costume. We are going to get him some converse boots and  he is hopefully borrowing a friend’s  motor scooter “thingy” that looks like a motorcycle, so he will have all the pieces to Ghost Rider and look awesome as he beggs for candy on Halloween night.

Ghost Rider costume  sells for $24.99  in kids and teens sizes.  There is a deluxe adult Ghost Rider costume that sales for $69.99  that looks scarier and is not as cute as this one.
