Review of Farmhouse Foods
We recently had a chance to try a few products from Farmhouse Foods. They make shelf stable grain based boxed foods like rice and pasta that is MSG free! We received 6 boxes of rice and pasta to try. We were pretty happy about the products quality. It has a great taste but we preferred the rice over the pasta boxes we received simply because we are not a family that eats much of macaroni or pasta processed goods. We prefer to eat things that are less processed. That said, we were happy to read that the products are all MSG free because you do not see that in…

Franz Bagels Review & Sweepstakes
Franz sent me their new selection of bagels to try out which are Tillamook Cheese, French Toast and Pizza. I must say they were pretty tasty. My favorite would have to be the Tillamook Cheese variety and my son really liked the French toast, although actually he must have liked all the kinds because he ate most of them.

Frugal Tips – Save on Heating With Woolzies Dryer Balls
Electricity can get extremely expensive during the winter months and since we are now in the middle of October it’s time to start thinking of ways to cut down on our electric bill. One of the ways I have found to be successful is through the use of Woolzies Dryer Balls. Woolzies help by cutting down the amount of time our wet clothing is in the dryer. They also help by eliminating the need for dryer sheets.

NuNaturals Stevia Product Review
As you know I am on a weight loss journey, it’s been slow going but one thing I try to do is eliminate refined sugar whenever possible. I first started using Sweet N Low and then I was introduced to Stevia and immediately noticed the difference. For one thing, with Sweet n Low I would have to put 3 or 4 packets in my drink but with Stevia I was okay with just 1 packet. That’s a money savings right there because I am buying less.

Review of bh Cosmetics California Collection, San Francisco Eyeshadow & Blush Palette
They say the eyes are the most important part of the face and that proper eye makeup can make or break a look. As a teen I was obsessed with eye makeup so it was no surprise that my daughter wanted to try new looks to. She told me about bh cosmetics and how she really wanted to try one of their pallets. We were given the opportunity to try the San Francisco Eye Shadow and Blush Pallet . She chose that one because she had seen several YouTube videos about it and wanted to try to recreate some looks she found online for school. bh cosmetics is also extremely…

Kobo Aura HD eReader Review
I’m not much of a book reader but when I do get in the mood for a good book I typically lock myself in my bedroom for the weekend with an entire series. I remember when the Twilight series came out I had to fight my daughter for them because I was reading the books faster than she was. Waiting for that third book was no fun at all. However, if there’s not a good series out then I don’t read physical books much. I believe my lack of interest in reading is derived from my old college day when I was studying psychology. I had to read so many…

Review of See’s Candy
If you live in the Pacific Northwest I am sure you have heard of See’s Candy, they are the leading chocolate factory in this part of the United States. They are especially popular here in Vancouver, Washington. I remember my mom taking me to See’s Candy as early as 5 years old. I was always so excited to choose my own chocolate but coming from a 5 year old the big glass windows blocking my access to all the yummy chocolate posed a problem. If that glass hadn’t been there I definitely would have snatched a few chocolates when the big people weren’t looking. Thank goodness for the glass, right?

Review of Envyderm Liquid Eyeliner and Mascara
As a blogger me and my teen daughter are spoiled, we have the opportunity to try some of the best makeup around. I can tell you I have used a lot of brands over the years and there have been some products that I wasn’t feeling. We received an eyeliner and a mascara. When Envyderm arrived my daughter quickly snatched it up before I could take a look at it. A few weeks went by and I noticed one day her eyelashes looked extra full and I asked her if she was wearing fake eyelashes, she had mentioned weeks prior that she wanted them and I had told her no.…
