NuNaturals Stevia Product Review

As you know I am on a weight loss journey, it’s been slow going but one thing I try to do is eliminate  refined sugar whenever possible. I first started using Sweet N Low and then I was introduced to Stevia and immediately noticed the difference. For one thing, with Sweet n Low I would have to put 3 or 4 packets in my drink but with Stevia I was okay with just 1 packet. That’s a money savings right there because I am buying less.

After using Stevia products for a few months I switched back to another sugar substitute brand just so I could see if there was an actual difference in how I felt and realized I couldn’t handle using it. It just wasn’t sweet enough and I had to use an insane amount of packets to equal one packet of Stevia. In addition to that the fake sugar gave me really bad stomach problems.

The packet Stevia is what led me to review products from NuNaturals. I have been wanting to use liquid Stevia products but wasn’t sure if I was going to like them. I have been on a path to eliminating refined sugar for the past year and it’s be slow going but with Stevia it made me feel like I have a chance to beat this refined sugar addiction I’ve got. Best yet, the kids do not notice when I use Stevia products in my baking. They really cannot tell the difference.

With the stevia products I received I also got to try several other products including Red Ape Cinnamon, Singing Dog Whole Vanilla Beans and Singing Dog Pure Vanilla Flavor.

My son and I made Vanilla Bean Yogurt  ,using Singing Dog brand vanilla beans and the result was amazing. Not only was there no refined sugar but we used Greek style yogurt which has higher protein and live cultures.

We haven’t bakes using the liquid stevia products yet. I suspect we will be doing a lot of that during Christmas time though. For the most part I have used the stevia packets for sweetening tea and coffee.
