Review of bh Cosmetics California Collection, San Francisco Eyeshadow & Blush Palette

They say the eyes are the most important part of the face and that proper eye makeup can make or break a look. As a teen I was obsessed with eye makeup so it was no surprise that my daughter wanted to try new looks to. She told me about bh cosmetics and how she really wanted to try one of their pallets. We were given the opportunity to try the San Francisco Eye Shadow and Blush Pallet . She chose that one because she had seen several YouTube videos about it and wanted to try to recreate some looks she found online for school. bh cosmetics is also extremely affordable, with most palettes being under $10!

We received the BH San Francisco Eyeshadow & Blush Palette very quick and it was shipped nicely packaged in bubble wrap. I  really liked that the shipment was not over sized for such a small pallet. I have seen some companies pack something as big as this in a giant box and it’s just ridiculous to be so wasteful, so I give a thumbs up to bh cosmetics for their mindfulness of the environment.

Speaking of the environment and good companies, bh cosmetics does not test on animals. That’s important to me because frankly, a makeup company shouldn’t think it’s necessary to test their products on animals and if they are worried their makeup brand is going to harm humans then maybe they should not be attempting to sell it, right? I was thrilled to know bh cosmetics does not test on animals and that their makeup products are made from only the finest formulation and ingredients.

My daughter does not use a lot of makeup, she really only uses eyeshadow occasionally, so she is still learning how to use it properly. She loves the shimmer colors in the pallet a lot. They really are her favorite part of the pallet. I noticed they don’t rub off that easily which means they stay put longer and she uses less which in the end means mom doesn’t have to buy more makeup for a while 🙂

The other thing I noticed and I am not sure if this is pure luck or something to do with the product’s ingredients but when she drops the pallet the makeup doesn’t break apart! I can’t tell you how many times I have dropped a compact and the contents break in half. I have ruined some very expensive makeup by dropping it.

The pigmentation in bh cosmetics is very bright so a little goes a long way. You do not need to use as much as you would with other products. The product also goes on smoothly and is easier to blend than other products we have used.
