As you know, I am a tea lover and have a little bit of an obsession with good quality teas. I can spot a bad tea as soon as I look at it. If you are passionate about tea then you will love Art of Tea, they have a wide selection of high quality teas and steeping supplies that will meet all of your tea needs.
Art of Tea imports the finest teas possible, they are organic and carefully selected to be apart of their line of specialty teas. The facility is based in Los Angeles, California. Each blend of tea is hand blended and carefully packaged with special care to preserve freshness.
Art of Tea has become a leading purveyor of organic and specialty teas since 1996 when Steve Schwartz began his journey to discover the finest teas all over the world. Each year Steve travels extensively, returning with rare and unique teas from around the world to bring to you.
I received 12 sample of their tea for my review. The above photographs are of the blooming teas. Blooming teas are tea leafs that are sewn together and when they are steeped it blooms into a flower. These type of teas are great for displays during parties and for drinking. You can set several blooms in a large glass punch bowl for a beautiful display.
I also received loose teas carefully packed in tear open packages. For loose tea you do need a steep basket. I did not have one so I used cheesecloth to steep my tea and it seemed to work wonderfully.
I was very pleased with the tea that I received. It was fresh and you could smell the tea through its packaging. When steeped the tea is very fragrant and you can taste the different tea leaves when sipping on the steeped liquid. Pictured below is the Amora loose tea, it is extremely good! Probably my favorite of all the tea I received.
