Jamba Juice Review and Giveaway!
I recently had the chance to try Jamba Juice bagged smoothie. My kids have been begging me to try this but I’m not much of a smoothie liker so I avoided buying it. I finally cracked and decided to try 4 flavors; Mango a-go-go, Strawberries Wild, Razzmatazz, and Caribbean Passion. The smoothie directions say to add apple juice to the contents and blend on the smoothie setting in your blender. I did this and the smoothies came out perfect. Then I decided to get wild and try a few different drinks to see what the difference is. So I used Crystal Light first. It was delicious, and the best part…

Book Review: Gabe’s Triumph by PM Smith #Gabe’s Triumph
I just finished reading Gabe’s Triumph by PM Smith, and all I can say is what a great book this is! What an absolutely fantastic author. According to Granny Apple Publishing, this is PM Smith’s very first book. I would say the author has a fantastic future ahead of her. About the book: Gabe’s Triumph is set in early 20thcentury rural Indiana. So we’re talking somewhat modern history here but not exactly because rural Indiana in the early 20th century was still well, very farm like. They did not have cell phones, malls, or super markets full of vegetables pre-peeled and washed. They had to hunt for their meat…

Book Review: Recovering The Self: A Journal of Hope and Healing #Recovering
I recently read Recovering The Self: A Journal of Hope and Healing (October 2011, Vol III). This is a journal that comes out once a month. Octobers issue theme is parenting. I have to say that as a parent this issue is pretty good. It has a lot of useful information for all age groups of children, and did not seem different from any other parenting journal. There is no red flag that says don’t read me if you are not recovering. This journal can be used by any person “parenting” a child. As a working professional in a field that involves working with families with extreme addictions and…

Product Review for It Works by Rebecca Layns #ItWork’s
I recently had the chance to review products from the It Works line. The following products are the items that I reviewed: Facial Applicator, Chin & Neck Applicator, Ultimate Body Applicator, Advanced Formula Fat Fighter with Carb Inhibitors, Ultimate ThermoFit, and Regular. Facial Applicator: This is a mask with lotion on one side that you place on your entire face; eyes & mouth are not covered. You leave the applicator on for at least 45 minutes. The facial is supposed to minimize the signs of aging. It tightens pores, helps combat the appearance of aging skin, and deeply hydrates without clogging pores. Purchase the Facial Applicator here My review:…

Review of Climb On Skin Care Products
I’m always looking for new skin care products that are all natural and won’t break my skin out worse than it already is. Climb On Skin Care is a product that works on very dry skin or hard to moisturize areas such as the feet, sides of your ankles, ball of the bottom of your foot, elbows and knees. According to Climb On, their products can be used for more than just dry skin, they claim it’s also good for burns, scrapes, rashes, cracked cuticles, diaper rash, poison ivy and other abrasions. I recently used the Climb bar for hives on my son who broke out right after Thanksgiving dinner and it helped a…

If you’re interested in working at home, here are just a few ideas of things you can do: Answer Text Messages ChaCha & KGB regularly hire text operators to answer random questions people send…

Review of Oliver’s Labels
First off I want to say that I rarely post a negative review and do everything I can do to work with a company before doing so. I want my readers and the companies I work with or will work with in the future to know that the products I review are things that I would normally use or things that I am interested in. I am sad that I have to post this review but my story must be told…because my readers deserve to know. I was offered a review of Oliver’s Labels, they create labels that are to be used on children’s items, things like clothing dishes and toys. I immediately…
