Review of Farmhouse Foods
We recently had a chance to try a few products from Farmhouse Foods. They make shelf stable grain based boxed foods like rice and pasta that is MSG free! We received 6 boxes of rice and pasta to try. We were pretty happy about the products quality. It has a great taste but we preferred the rice over the pasta boxes we received simply because we are not a family that eats much of macaroni or pasta processed goods. We prefer to eat things that are less processed. That said, we were happy to read that the products are all MSG free because you do not see that in…

Fall Garden 2013 Update – Pumpkin Almost Ready, Lettuce, Broccoli and Cabbage
It’s been a few at least a month since I shared some garden progress with you so I thought I better get those pictures rolling. This is the first year we have grown pumpkin and I have to admit I didn’t check to see what kind I planted but from the looks of it, it’s not a pie pumpkin! My son Diego said we have to leave it for a couple more days so it gets a bit more orange and then he wants to take it home to carve. I cannot wait to roast the seeds! There’s nothing more frugal then growing your own food.

Franz Bagels Review & Sweepstakes
Franz sent me their new selection of bagels to try out which are Tillamook Cheese, French Toast and Pizza. I must say they were pretty tasty. My favorite would have to be the Tillamook Cheese variety and my son really liked the French toast, although actually he must have liked all the kinds because he ate most of them.

They also help by eliminating the need for dryer sheets.

NuNaturals Stevia Product Review
As you know I am on a weight loss journey, it’s been slow going but one thing I try to do is eliminate refined sugar whenever possible. I first started using Sweet N Low and then I was introduced to Stevia and immediately noticed the difference. For one thing, with Sweet n Low I would have to put 3 or 4 packets in my drink but with Stevia I was okay with just 1 packet. That’s a money savings right there because I am buying less.

We live in an apartment and if you have ever lived in one you know that their main goal in life is to make money, not provide luxury shower heads. So our shower head is just a basic one that every other apartment has. In short, it isn’t glamorous. That’s why I am excited for this giveaway.
