Review of Giani Granite ~ Do you love the look of granite but not the price?
The kit talked about in this review was given to my assistant free of charge for this review. However, all opinions are my own, and this post could contain affiliated links that support this blog. I love the granite in my kitchen and was excited to have the opportunity to review Giani Granite paint for countertops. Never before had I heard of painting countertops and at first I was skeptical about how easy the process would be but the painting time is approximately 4 hours and drying time is approximately 16 hours. My fiancé and I purchased our house in 2011 almost completely remodeled with the exception of the bathrooms…

That’s it Fruit Bar Giveaway
When we eat snacks we tend to choose ones that are loaded with unnecessary stuff. It may taste good but it can be unhealthy. Luckily we have That’s it, they believes that adding a bunch of extra stuff to natural fruit only takes away from the purity and balance that nature intended. They use only natural, GMO-free fruit and “that’s it.” Just one bar will give you 2 whole servings of fruit. There are four flavors: Apples + Pears (made from 1 apple and 1 pear) Apples + Cherries (made from 1 apple and 10 cherries) Apples + Apricots (made from one apple and 3 apricots) Apples + Mango (made from one…

Review of Noxicare Supplements
Recently I started caring more about taking care of myself and using supplements like daily multivitamins, b12, joint care supplements. I am picky about my supplements, they should not be a lot of “fillers” in the product or I won’t buy it. I read each label and won’t buy if there is rice flour, corn starch, or soy flour as a main ingredient or even in the top 5 because that is an indication that the supplement is not pure and instead filled with useless crap and very little vitamin in the capsule. I like the Noxicare line because the supplements are pure, you can understand the label and their products are…

Frugal Tip~Track Food Costs
Record all your expenditures on food in two columns. One is necessary and the other is unnecessary. At the end of every month check how much you are spending unnecessarily and reduce it slowly. Another option is to make it a rule to only get the unnecessary foods free, so if you want packaged cookies or ice cream, the only way you are getting them is if you are able to free.

Daily Tip ~ Use Less Detergent
If there’s no visible dirt, only perspiration, in your laundry, use MUCH less detergent. Try an old dish soap squirt bottle, pour in detergent to 1/3, then fill the rest with water. Use only 2-3 tablespoons of this diluted detergent in the washer. Clothes get clean and they rinse better too. The same concept goes for dishes. If there is no yucky grime and you just need to quickly sanitize them then use less dish soap or a diluted bleach solution.

In order to conserve water and lower your water bill, put a small brick in the tank of your toilets. It will add weight, and the tank will not require as much water to reach the fill line, so you will use less and save at the same time.
