Del Taco Epic Grilled Chicken Avocado Burrito is Epically Good

The only Del Taco near be is about 20 minute drive unless I want to chance the Portland traffic, which I usually don’t. So I don’t get over there very often, but they are one of my most favorite places to eat and have new menu items so often. I was excited when a Del Taco rep reached out to me to try their new Epic Grilled Chicken Avocado Burrito. It really is epically good!

This thing is LOADED with good stuff – chunks of avocado swim around in chicken, topped with pico de gallo salsa, rice, and black beans. To me, the burrito is worth a 20 minute drive. I also like that they have so many menu options, so even though one of my kids is not an avocado fan he was able to get other things on the menu.

What really makes Del Taco different is that their toppings are hand made, and made to perfection. In the Epic Grilled Chicken Avocado Burrito the rice is not just plain rice, nope, they take it one step further and create a delicious lime rice. And you can’t just have one or two slices of avocado. There’s got to be lots of it, and Del Taco adds 6 slices. Their pico de gallo is hand made, and oh so good.

The Epic Grilled Chicken Avocado Burrito was released on June 4th, and is just $5.29. If you’ve been to a burrito house, you know that this is a steal of a deal. You cannot get a burrito this big at burrito house for less then $7 around here, and it’s not going to taste as fresh or be as large. You are also able to add avocado to any of the menu items for an additional cost.
