WA State College Bound Applications are Due By June 30th!

With school ending in just a few weeks I want to remind you that the application deadline is June 30th for College Bound for both 7th and 8th grade students. Also a warning that if your student does not send in their application by June 30th of their 8th grade year that they won’t be able to participate. Given that there is only about 2 weeks left of school you should get the applications in as soon as possible.

If you do not know what College Bound is you can find more information at the College Bound Website for Washington State.  The short of it is that College Bound is a college scholarship for low income student and you must meet income eligibility to qualify. The scholarship pays for tuition and a small allowance for books for public colleges and universities.

*Student must stay out of legal trouble during the entirety of their education.

* They must do well in school academically, I believe they need to hold a B average

* Must turn in application at the end of their 8th grade, by June 30th
