Cook’ n Recipe Organizer 10 is an easy way to organize your recipes electronically. You download the software to your computer and it sits on your desk top. You can clip recipes from online and save them to your software and they will be easy to find with the search feature. You can type ingredients you have on hand and get custom recipe ideas. Calculate nutritional content of your favorite recipes with ease and scale down recipes for better nutritional value.
My husband is a chef so naturally we have a lot of recipes hanging around the house. It was nice to be able to add them to this organizer so I can easily find them when I want to make something I haven’t made in a while. I also liked the feature that allows me to clip recipes I found online and easily save to my recipe organizer. My husband enjoyed the ability to drop recipes to make customized menu plans for the week. I am more of a cook on the fly type of person so the menu did not do too much for me although I think if I actually tried to use it I would waste less produce and other perishables.
What was really cool for me was the ability to print a family cookbook! I love the idea of printing family recipes, organizing them and then bind them into a neat cookbook to give out as a Christmas gift. It has been about 5 years since I have last used a binding service but it should not be more than a couple dollars, so this would be an inexpensive Christmas gift.
