The Greek Gods have introduced a new line of nonfat Greek yogurt with Chia seeds, and it is mighty tasty. With 120-140 calories per cup, and 12grams of protein per serving it is also a great snack. Chia seeds hold proven health benefits, help keep you fuller longer, are a great digestive aid, and are considered a super food by many standards. When added to Green yogurt the health benefits are only increased. The Greek Gods new nonfat yogurt with Chia comes in 4 flavors with fruit or vanilla: strawberry, peach, blackberry and vanilla.
My son’s favorite is vanilla bean yogurt, so I cannot wait to introduce these to him. I know he is going to just love the new flavors, and I am going to love knowing that what I am giving him is packed with healthy protein. Plus Greek yogurt is also packed with live cultures creating a powerful probiotics that aid in digestion. Chia seeds are loaded with fiber, protein, and Omega 3 fatty acids which also help aid in digestion and to help build a healthier gut.
This year I made it a goal to eat healthier and get my family to eat healthier to. It has been a slow start but with the introduction of healthier proteins like The Greek Gods Nonfat Greek Yogurt With Chia Seeds I am able to offer my kids better breakfast options. Since both of my teens don’t like to get up in the morning it is important to have options that they can grab and go. Yogurt offers them that option, and since it tastes good they don’t argue about me pushing it on them.
