Tip of The Day: Pay Bills on Time

Recently I was looking over one of my bills and noticed I was charged a $2 late fee because I forgot to pay the bill on time. Now days, a lot of companies are doing this and we have to be extra diligent in making sure our bills are paid on time if we want to avoid those late fee’s. Credit cards charge you a late fee between $25-50 each time you are late plus you accrue interest. PUD’s are starting to charge a small late fee. Many cell phone companies started doing this to. Look at it this way. If you are accruing a $2 late fee at least one time a week for 52 weeks of the year that adds up to be $104 for just 1 bill. OUCH!
