Simple Cups – K Cups Disposible Filter System

I recently got the chance to review a disposable K Cup filter system by Simple Cups. I have to say I was very excited to review this because K Cups are so darn expensive so the thought of making them at home was going to save us money but when I tried the system my excitement turned to disappointment.

Here is why,

• The system was easy to put together so I made a dozen to store in my pantry for the week ahead.
• Sadly, when I tried the first one I noticed coffee granules in my coffee. Didn’t think about it and tried a second one and noticed all the coffee that was in the filter was now in my cup of coffee
• Wondering if maybe it was because I have a single cup mini brewer I tried the filters at a friends house and the same thing happened, coffee granules in the coffee…a LOT of them.

Because the filters do not work with 2 different Keurig machines and a Mr Coffee machine that also does K Cups I have to warn my readers not to buy these filters. It’s a great concept but they do not work.
