DIY Bed- Reclaimed Cast Iron Bed

A family member gave us this antique bed. It used to be white and then my daughter wanted it painted purple with a gold glitter top coat. The bed is around 100 years old, so when she asked to change it again I wanted to do something that wasn’t too damaging. Since she loves cheetah print I came up with the idea to use Leopard Printed Duct Tape to cover the bed posts and base of the bed and then use Black Duck Brand tape for the smaller post bars.

We aren’t done with the project yet. I have used approximately 4 rolls of the leopard print tape and will probably need to purchase 2 more rolls of it to finish the bed off. We’ll then figure out a way to recreate the cheetah print look on the dressers so she have a cheetah room.
