Yummy Hawaiian French Bread Pizzas
Disclaimer: This post is part of the Good Cook Blogger Program and I received these products for review. All opinions and experiences are 100% my own.
Good Cook company challenged it’s bloggers to take the items they provided us and do the opposite of what they are supposed to be used for. Since this is my first food challenge I didn’t want to stretch my luck too far and played it safe with a few old fashioned favorites that I knew the kids would eat.
I received the items in the picture above: Sweet Creations large cookie sheet, Sweet Creations 3 pack cookie cutters ( gift, cupcake and , and gift tag) and a 2 pack of Sweet Creations squeeze bottles.
We chose to use the cookie sheet to create french bread pizzas and did a second blog post for Chocolate Cinnamon Gram Crackers that you are going to want to check out.
First of all the pan is AMAZING. I have never owned a good quality cookie sheet and didn’t know what I was missing out on until I received this one. I need to toss out my other cookie sheets because after getting this one I won’t want to go back to my old ones.
I really like that its not flat, it’s got sides. So if I want to make brownies I can do a larger pan. Or if I want to make deep dish cookies for a party I have more room to make several kinds in one pan. Really, my options are endless.
Recipe
2 loaves french bread sliced in half lengthwise
butter
marinara sauce
1 can Dole pineapple
1/2 pound chicken breast chopped and cooked
2 cups Mozzarella cheese shredded
Smear butter on each half of the french bread and toast for 5 minutes in the oven. Take out and smear marinara sauce on each half. Add chicken, cheese and pineapple. Cook until cheese is thoroughly melted.
