Nutrisystem Nation – I’m Their Newest Member! #NSNation

I have some exciting news that I have been dying to share with you all for weeks now. A couple months ago I was approached by Nutrisystem to try their program for 4 months and in exchange I will blog, Facebook, Tweet and Pin my posts to show my readers my progress.

My long time readers already know that I have been trying to lose weight for a while now and while I have lost some weight I still have a long way to go. My weight situation started with my oldest child. I had gained 70 pounds with her and it took me a really long time to lose most of that but my body was never the same and still had 25 or so pounds that needed to come off.  With my second child I was so sick during my pregnancy that I actually lost weight and came out slightly smaller than my prepregnancy size. Then I had emergency surgery and gained weight…Went to college and gained more weight… It has been a viscous cycle of war to get the weight off and over time it has crept up to an unmanageable amount. As I write this I am wearing double digit pants and quickly growing out of them. I have come to the realization that enough is enough. This must stop now!

It has gotten so bad that I have a stack of “skinny” clothes in my closet. You know that stack that you out grow but keep around for skinnier days. Usually it’s just one or two things but my stack has become more like a wardrobe. It’s much more than one or two items. See for yourself…

And this is just in my closet. I also have some shoes.

I have a long journey ahead of me but I am confident that with Nutrisystem on my side for 4 whole months I will succeed. This is an incredible opportunity and I hope my readers will come visit the blog to find out how I am doing! I will be posting before/after photos as well as weekly weigh ins.
