{ Holiday gift Guide } Sports Illustrated KIDS
My son is an avid sports lover and participator of many different sports including Soccer, his main love though, is martial arts, mainly Jujitsu and Wrestling. However, like most other 10 year old boys born of this technology era, he has been increasingly more interested in becoming a coach potato because of video games, iPhone and television. I wanted to find something that would capture his interest in books and his fascination with proving to mom that he really is a know-it-all. When I found Sports Illustrated for KIDS on the newsstand inside the grocery store while couponing I knew right then that this magazine would capture his love of sports and reading and that he might even be willing to put down the video game controller to read for a couple hours.
The thing I like most about Sports Illustrated for KIDS is that it is written FOR kids in a way KIDS want to read. It promotes reading in children who do not normally like to read because you have captured their inherit interest in sports. There are interesting stories in each article that your child will find popular within his or her peers so he will want to read it so he can tell his friends about it.
