Review of Olive & Nell LivyBelt Waistband

Olive & Nell LivyBelt’s were designed for the tall, skinny child that has a difficult time finding pants or skirts that fit her. With the Livybelt your child won’t need belts, buckles, loopholes, clasps or safety pins because LivyBelt will fit snugly over the clothing item  holding it in place. LivyBelt’s are soft, stretchy and will grab onto the clothing, forcing them to stay put. There are 3 different styles of Livybelt to choose from and lots of patterns that your child will love.

Traditional Livybelt: is meant to go underneath clothing and is not meant to be seen. This style works best to keep pants in place. The traditional belt is wider than the other two belts and comes in several patterns including a solid color.

For the more diva like child she may like the Lizzy which is a shorter belt style that can go underneath clothing but is meant to go over them to provide a more fashionable assemble. With the Lizzy belt she can wear it as a regular belt over her jeans or pair it with leggings for a cute fashionable style.

The Lila style boasts a pretty flurry bow and is more “girly” in my opinion and she’ll be able to wear more with it. On Olive and Nell’s website they have a girl modeling this style in a dress and I think that’s the cutest way to wear it, personally.

My niece loved the fabric these belts are made from. Her favorite was the black satin bow style with the polka dots. She wasn’t too fond of the traditional style but she is more of a dress kind of girl. I think the fabric is very durable which is great for children on the go. The only drawback to the fabric is it contains Lycra and it can snag easily if it comes in contact with sticks or typical things a child playing outside in the dirt would run into.  I can’t speak too much on waist size because my children are much older but my niece is very tall and skinny and she was able to wear these belts without an issue. They do state that they are made for waist sizes between 14″-25″ and I think they do run true to size.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
