There is only a couple weeks until Thanksgiving and I know my readers are wondering where the best turkey deals are. So where are they? Read on to find out where the best turkey prices are, and where to get a free turkey.

turkey deals

Grocery Outlet

I bought a 12.5 pound Jennie-O turkey for $9.99 today. That ends up being around .78 cents a pound, which is a good price for this brand.

Albertsons

BOGO free when you spend $35. *Must purchase turkey plus spend $35, but this is the best deals from the list.

Winco Foods

Will price match all major retailers, plus right now they are offering a free turkey when you spend $150. Right now Winco’s turkey prices are about .48 cents a pound here in Vancouver, Washington. So if you just wanted to get a turkey they are about the cheapest for fresh turkey.

Fred Meyer

Spend $150 get a free turkey pr .49 cents a pound if you spend $100

Walmart

has them for .69 cents a pound and you do not have to purchase anything else.

Safeway

Spend $150 get a free Honeysuckle turkey free. Or pay .69 cents a pound if you just want a turkey.

Remember to use coupons when shopping for other staples. That will keep your total low. And here is an even better tip. Pay attention the person checking out next to you. You never know if they might turn down their free turkey. If they do speak up and say you will take it if they don’t want it. I have already seen several people giveaway their free turkey while in line at Safeway! I will update this post and we get closer to Thanksgiving and add any additional savings opportunities to it.

Am i missing a good deal on this list? Let me know in comments and I will add it to my post.
