SeaWorld San Diego California Themepark

This is part of a sponsored trip that the Martinez family took in October 2014. SeaWorld combed tickets for our visit, so that my family could experience the theme park, and post a review on Emily’s Frugal Tips. All opinions are my own. 

When thinking of a winter holiday, San Diego is an excellent choice. The beaches and restaurants are not crowded, and the weather is pleasantly mild. On top of this, there is no experience as the one you can have at SeaWorld. The thrilling rides and amazing aquatic performances will help create memories that will last a lifetime.

SeaWorld is certainly a work of it’s own with animal habitats, rides, shows, many special events, as well as “unique” experiences such as swimming with dolphins. There is something for people of all ages. From water-themed spectaculars to food fests, taking a vacation at SeaWorld in San Diego will satisfy even the pickiest kids.

If you are looking for excitement, look no further. The Explorer’s Reef has an incredible entrance where guests enter and they will encounter a gigantic wave sculpture. Then to delight even more, guests will experience an underwater-themed world of animals, buildings and other amazing attractions. The sealife exhibits and performances are amazing and being able to be part of the action is only half the fun! Watching these delightful sea creature come to life center stage makes for a phenomenal adventure.

Sea World in San Diego has a fantastic lineup for 2015. There is a celebration ringing in the Lunar New Year in February. In March, there will be four weekends filled with fun things to do and see for animal lovers. From TV personalities such as Jack Hanna and Sea World Ambassador Julie Scardina. Wild Days in Sea World are sure to be a hit. In May, foodies and craft lovers alike will rejoice at the annual beer and craft festival. Foodies will find delicious treats of all kinds. Skipping ahead to October, The Halloween Spooktacular is sure to be a crowd pleaser, as well as all of the Christmas festivities that can be found at Sea World in San Diego.

Toddlers will love to see the dolphins and killer whales perform their dating aquatic acts. They will probably love getting soaking wet even more if they have a front row seat! From the dancing penguins up the cuddle polar bears, Sea World has an exhibit for everyone. The sea otters will keep you laughing with their amusing expressions and Shamu will perform just for you!

The next time the family is deciding where to go on the yearly vacation, look no further than to sunny California and head to Sea World in San Diego. It’s always the perfect time!
