I got to try Boundless Nutrition’s bars and cookies recently. Boundless Nutrition makes bars and cookies that are popular in the health foods industry. You can find their products at Whole Foods and different stores in Texas. Each bar contains 300 mg of DHA and EPA Omega-3; this is equivalent to 1000 mg of fish oil supplement. Their bars contain only the highest quality fish oil available and are free of heavy metals, dioxins, toxins, and mercury. Each bar also contains 3 cups of decaffeinated green tea, dark chocolate, 5 grams of fiber, and 25% RDI of calcium. They bars also contain whey protein.
My children loved the bars and cookies that we sampled. I unfortunately did not like any of the products but felt that the texture was that of any other bar or cookie I’ve had. I’m not a huge fish oil fan so I think the taste of fish oil was just too much for me. My husband on the other hand loved the bars and took a couple to work as lunch. I do think that the bars and cookies are made with quality ingredients, and the packaging is designed nicely.
My children really loved the Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter bar but my husband liked the Blueberry Pomegranate Crunch bar better. I did eat the White Chocolate Macadamia cookie and it was pretty good. I like the fact that the cookies contain 3 cups of green tea and 4 grams of fiber. I have hard time getting all my fiber in daily so it’s nice to have fiber in a cookie. I also like that Boundless Nutrition is gluten free, milk free, and contains no soy, wheat or egg.
