Recently I started thinking more about losing weight since my current weight is out of control. I am not convinced that a low fat diet is the right way to go, but decided to try PB and PB with Chocolate (cocoa powder added). These products are peanut butter that is powdered and virtually free of fat. made with the highest quality peanuts that are slow roasted and then cold pressed to remove the fat and oil. Many people like the taste. I have to be honest and say I was not a fan when I used it for regular peanut butter. When I used it for making cookies, and in pad thai noodles it was good. i plan to use it to make dog treats to 😉

I am not saying that the products are not healthier or that they are gross. They are not bad at all. I am just a slow converter, and I am used to real peanut butter where it is loaded with oil and salt 🙁 It is a learning experience for me, and a way to gradually replace unhealthy habits with healthier ones. I can see many ways that PB2 products could be used. One example I have been thinking about is to use it in protein shakes. Instead of using protein powder I think you could use the powdered peanut butter. it is loaded with protein and low in fat and no hydrogenated oils.
