Basic Green Juice for Weight Loss

This amazing green juice for weight loss will shrink your belly fat while energizing you so you don’t need the coffee every morning. Let me be clear, I am not advocating for my readers to start an all liquid diet. I wouldn’t be able to do that if my life depended on it. It’s also not safe or practical. I like food. You should eat food. With that being said, I am not a morning person. I am not going to wake up at the butt crack of dawn to make breakfast. It’s not happening. It doesn’t matter what I am bribed with. It will not happen! I like green smoothies, and especially if I am trying to lose weight,  I find the best breakfast smoothies for weight loss are the ones that take seconds to make. This green juice recipe is fast and super delicious.

INGREDIENTS for green juice for weight loss

2 handfuls of kale
1 lemon
1 kiwi
1 banana
1 apple
1/4 teaspoon chia seeds

DIRECTIONS

Add 1/4 cup of water to blender. Peel all the fruit and remove seeds, and put it all in the blender. Then add the kale. If you use Swiss chard make sure you remove the hard stem first. Blend on high until liquid. Sprinkle in chia seeds, and blend for 5 seconds. Pour over ice and enjoy. If it comes out too thick for you, add a little more water until you get the consistency that you like.
Note: this is meant to be drunk all by you, but if it’s too much green juice for you just freeze or give to your partner.
