Can I start of with how much I love this phone! I mean, I am so in love with this phone so much that I ended up keeping it for myself instead of giving it to my husband for his FAther’s Day gift.  It does everything I need it to do. It takes great pictures, it is reliable, it is bigger than my HTC Evo and lighter to. The LG Spirit 4G is simply amazing. I truly am so happy with this new phone. If you are looking for a new phone for your dad or husband, this phone is it. He will simply love it. You might even see him jump up and down or cry!

Metro PCS Coverage

I was offered the opportunity to review a phone from Metro PCS, a no contract company that has coverage in more states than Cricket. Metro PCS is At & T coverage but no contract. It is the same service you would get if you went directly through AT&T minus the contract that they stick you with. They offer the same types of phones you can get anywhere else. Here is a map of their coverage, all of the purple (and there is a lot of it) is their coverage area! Metro PCS also allows you to bring your phone to their service as long as it is a phone under their service agreement. I did not see my HTC Evo on the list but I noticed there are a lot of phones that are eligible.

Now back to the LG Spirit 4G Cell Phone

The LG Spirit 4G has the full Andriod  market so you don’t have to worry about certain application not being available. The camera takes very good photos, much brighter and clearer than my old phone. The camera also has a cheese shutter function, time catch slot and a high resolution camcorder. I have to say I am extremely impressed with the camera quality, compared to my daughter’s iPhone , the picture quality is very very close if not identical. Since I am a blogger, I use my phone’s camera daily when I am reviewing products or finding deals in stores, so having a phone with good picture quality is extremely important to me.

Also, as a blogger, I need to be able to get onto Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest whenever I find a deal that I need to share. Typically, I do not post blog postings directly from my phone unless it is something I need to jump on right that second, but having access to social media sites is imperative. The LG Spirit 4G held up very well for me. Facebook was slow to load a couple times but other than that the phone worked well for my social media needs.

The only thing that did not work and I am still not sure how to make work, is the GPS site maps. The phone was sent to me with a number outside my area, so I am hoping once I transfer my phone number to my new account that the area maps will work and I can use the GPS function. For now though, it us a pain because I rely on it so much and not having it is a big hassle for me.

Price

For a phone of this size and what it can do I think the price is very good. It retails for $269.99 but is currently on sale for $219.

Dad’s with an office would be thrilled to have this Fellowes M-12C Shredder because it is simply amazingly powerful. I spent the day testing it out so I would know if it is worth it’s cost, if it would hold up, if it would clog up and if it actually shredded the paper. The shredder survived my testing and not only surprised me at how well it shreds but it did not clog even once! Other shredders I have owned have clogged within a week of using it. Fellowes brand M-12C held up to my expectations.

If you haven’t heard of the Fellowes brand, it is a widely known company that sells office equipment like shredders, cutters, laminators, electronic holder’s for office equipment like tablets or laptops, binding machines and more.

The first thing I noticed about the Fellowes shredder was that it resembles a desktop computer! It is shaped differently than I have seen shredders shaped which makes it able to easily fit into small places, such as underneath my computer desk or in tight squeezes. I also noticed how shiny it is, now normally I would not mention something like that as it doesn’t  explain it’s function but this shredder has a crisp design and it looks nice.

I don’t use a plastic bag with my shredder but if you were in an office you would want to so you did not make a mess. This shredder has an easy pull out drawer that is perfect for fitting a plastic bag into it without having to cram it back in place.

**Safesense technology : stops shredding immediately when hands touch the paper opening. I actually didn’t read the manual before using the shredder and couldn’t figure out why it kept pausing in the middle of shredding. It was because my fingers were on the paper opening as the paper was being shredded! So that is an interesting feature I discovered before reading

My daughter and I have been looking at summer clothes online which is good timing since American Apparel offered her the opportunity to try a couple summer pieces from their American Apparel Summer 2013 line. She chose a stone washed denim short vest and a summer peach chambray short jumpsuit, both items are current styles with a lot of diversity which will be great for her since she loves to pull off different looks throughout the week.

We like American Apparel because the products are made in America. We think the quality is better then what you would find in stores that import their products from Asian countries such as China and Singapore. I think you can see the quality differences in these two products compared to items she has in her closet from other boutiques that manufacture their clothing outside of the United States. The stitching looks stronger, the fabric sturdier and can withstand multiple washings without fading or becoming torn. The overall physical appearance is better.

American Apparel is one of  her favorite stores because they have such a big selection of styles and there is always something in the store for everyone. Just a few days ago they got a new selection of swimwear and summer dresses in just in time for summer’s warm weather.

I found Genie bras at a store and was interested in them so I contacted the company to see if I could review them and a couple days later they contacted me for a review.

I received 3 items from the Genie line: the original Genie bra, Milana bra and Cami Shaper. I fell in love with all 3 as soon as I tried them on. I can’t say I will want to go back to my old bras, ever.

• The original Genie Bra is so comfortable and if you are ordering off of the Genie Bra website you get a set of 6 bras for $60! You can also pick them up at stores like Walmart for $9.99 each. That is a tremendous bargain for such a comfortable bra. I received the beige bra, it fit well and was true to size but was not my favorite of the 3 bras I received. Genie bra is good for those who recently had a mastectomy or other surgery because it is under wire free. Sizing available includes the following: xs-xl and plus sizes 2x-4x. The bra has removable pads and they should be removed before washing the bra.
• Milana Bra is by far my favorite of the 3 bras I got to try. I really love the lace panel insert that hides your cleavage. It was nice to have for my office job since a lot of my blouses are v cut. This bra is made of the same fabric all the Genie bras are made from, Everlast fabric and also has removable pads that must come out before washing. In my opinion, the bra is almost identical to the original Genie except with the Milana you get a lace panel and it is better coverage with a wider back area that couture’s more than the Genie original. the Milana bra is sold online only and comes in sets of 2 for $60.00
• Cami Shaper is a cami with a built in Genie bra. It is super comfortable and smoothes out any imperfection. You can wear Cami Shaper alone or under clothing. I prefer to wear mine under clothing for maximum shaping. Easy to clean and soft fabric makes this my fabric garment in my closet.

Genie bras are awesome because they provide full coverage and can be worn for workouts. As a plus sized women that is top heavy it can be hard to find a sports bra that provide the coverage and support that I need during a workout.

I was offered an integrated speaking device when I purchased my new car but it was expensive so I decided against it, especially since the bluetooth device I was currently using was working just fine for me. I am always looking for ways to use my cell phone in the car while still staying legal and safe because I work in a field that requires my phone to be on at all time. I have been using a Jabra blue tooth device so I am familiar with the Jabra brand and have been successful with using it in my car and with my HTC Evo Phone but it bothers my ear when I have earrings on and with long hair it can easily fall  out of my ear if I mess with my hair.

I was offered the opportunity to review the Jabra Freeway device.  I have heard of speaker phone devices for the car before but always thought they were expensive and would not be something that I could afford, especially after hearing the price for the integrated device the car dealership tried to install in mine. I was surprised at how affordable the Jabra brand is, for around $130 you can own this Jabra Freeway Speakerphone and it is portable, so it can be moved to different cars. you should have seen my husband’s face when I showed him this speakerphone. I thought he was going to jump up and down with excitement and before I knew it he had it installed in our car.

It snaps easily on your sun visor in your car and with just the tap of your finger turns on and a friendly female voice speaks when you connect it you your cell phone for the initial setup.
You do have to remember to turn it off if you are going to be within 30 feet of your car when you leave or it will pick up your calls even when you don’t want it to. I discovered this when I parked too close to my apartment and forgot to turn it off, it picked up my calls for me and I had to go outside to turn it off and then call my friend back.
